DermMatch is a reputable hair concealer that has been designed to be used by everyone regardless of age and gender. DermMatch is suitable for those with thinning hair rather than those with bald patches as their product coats the hair follicles that gives the impression that hair is thicker. Another great feature of this product is that it can bear the light amount of water exposure either as a light rain or a very shallow and brief swim.
This product is a great return on investment and has no detectable odors and side effects. However, a downside is the absence of detailed ingredients on the product website which means that harmful long-term symptoms may surface after prolonged use.

KeraThik contains Keratin protein-based hair fibers that electrostatically attaches to existing hair to give off a thicker hair-volume impression. The manufacturer claims that these hair-like fibers are strong enough to sustain hair combing, styling, sweating and even swimming. However, KeraThik is not a very bid player in hair concealer market and their brand is more known for face rebuilding products. Hence, in the absence of presence on any major store, such as Amazon or Walmart, this product is not recommended. Despite the lofty claims made by the manufacturer, the validity of these statements is very hard to be proved. It is suggested that other more reputable products be tried first.

Manufactures by the same company behind widely popular Toppik, X-Fusion is slightly less expensive and has favorable reviews on Amazon and other sites. It is not yet clear what is the difference between X-Fusion and its sister products but the performance of this hair concealer has made it a must-have amongst users of all genders. This product contains wool based keratin micro fibers that, when either sprayed, sprinkled or combed, adheres to the hair roots to give off a fuller and thicker head. It has been reported by several users that these fibers would only come off when showered and can survive sweating and light rain. Although, a major concern has been the issue of some staining of pillows when the product is not washed off completely.

Caboki hair concealer contains an organic powder from a Moroccan plant named Gossypium Herbaceum. Caboki claims that fibers of this plant are amongst the best material that can be used as hair thickeners as in addition to superior bonding, these fibers give a natural hair-like feel and pose no threat to the scalp in the form of allergies. Moreover, to augment the natural texture, Caboki also uses natural pigmentation for coloring. This product has no hairspray and is directed to be applied via sprinkling. A downside is that this product is not waterproof and hence not suitable for sweat or rain.

Infinity Hair Fibers
Infinity Hair Fibers and Touch Up are part of the company hair concealer products for those individuals that are suffering from thinning hairs and root discoloration. The hair fibers are actually a synthetic Rayon based microfiber structure that when applied via a spray or pump, is adhered to the scalp hair and instantly give an appearance of flush beard or scalp hair. Moreover, the company claims it to be sweat proof as well. This product is cheaper and has some good reviews however the major concern of the buyers has been inconsistent results from the similar product line. Also, the absence of detailed ingredient list, with the exception of Rayon mentioned along artificial coloring, puts off potential buyers. I would suggest that this product is tried after experimenting with other established brands.
